Vaccines are now the most effective tool to keep away from the COVID-19 pandemic along with taking controls like wearing your mask avoiding public gatherings. The UAE is offering these vaccines to its citizens and expats residing in the UAE free of charge and on an optional basis after ensuring that the person has no medical condition or symptom that makes it inadvisable. Pregnant women, Nursing mothers and children are excluded from the COVID-19 vaccinations. The Dubai Health Authority is providing 3 options for the Covid vaccines: Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccine. As of 16th May 2021, children between the ages of 12-15 in the UAE are eligible for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
